Requirements for received files

Attention! If the source file does not meet the specified requirements, then you will not be able to get the correct result.

EEG procedure

Electrodes. All 18 scalp electrodes indicated in the picture must be used!
Ipsilateral reference ear electrodes A1 and A2 should be used.
State. Record the EEG in a relaxed waking state with the closed eyes. For analysis, a recording duration of at least 3 minutes and no more than 30 minutes is required.

Conversion EEG to EDF

We accept files in European Data Format. EDF is a standard file format designed for the exchange and storage of medical time series.

Additional information

Assigned sex. Please include patient's assigned sex. It's easy to confuse sex and gender. Just remember that biological or assigned sex is about biology, anatomy.
Age. Please include age in years at the moment of EEG procedure NOT at the moment of uploading the file.
